We are shortening our office hours to 10 am-5 pm during this time In addition, we are asking anyone interested in employment to use our online resources to apply.
How are we combating the COVID-19 coronavirus

At Tranquility House AFC, cleanliness is key. We will continue to use antibacterial cleaning agents as well as bleach and disinfectants to ensure our home is as clean and germ-free as possible. We are consistently cleaning door handles, toilet handles, and rail bars every thirty minutes with antibacterial and disinfecting cleaning agents as well as other areas that are touched very frequently. We have hand sanitizer at the home that we encourage residents to use and require all visitors to use as well. In addition, we are putting a pause on outings with the residents until further notice, while incorporating more engaging indoor activities into their care programs. We are sanitizing anything coming into the home such as groceries or mail with disinfectants and antibacterial agents as well. We currently have two staff that are living in the home and have been doing so since March 1st to ensure we minimize the risk of the virus entering our home.
